Keep hearing a few going here a few going there does anyone within Weatherford have access to the current layoff numbers to date? Q2 ending was meant to include the main bulk of layoffs its nearly there but still hearing lots more to go?

Total Number of Employees in January of this year was 55,131. At the end of April the total number of employees was 47,887. That's a reduction of 7,244.
6533 is the figure coming straight from the WFT database yesterday !! 7848 is a figure I assume for share price purposes.
Here is the investor presentation from 5/19/15. The number of layoffs are said to be 7848 through 5/7/15.

Are these figure quoted for North America only or for Worldwide headcount reductions, because there is a big difference in the figures quoted ? Confusing.
Sad when their own employees don't know how many have been laid off either. On the May 22 investor presentation (UBS Austin) they said they have done 7848/10,000. Available on the Weatherford IR page for anyone to view.

6533 already counted as layed off as of last Friday 22nd May. This is obviously sensitive information for WFT so please do not ask for proof. I can post weekly figures here if people want. Hope this helps.
