It only makes sense that there are cuts in Merchandise - buyers for Target and buyers for Target.com...when the product is the same, do you need two people purchasing the same things?? As for TTS, there's over staff there too...one person does this, one person does that and another person does something the same only a little different; streamlining makes sense and the result is someone who actually knows what is going on. Things might take a little longer but the inside quality is better as there is more accountability.

Merchandising has been asked to cut 30 % in June. The Leaders have been asked to identify critical business needs and match skills to those needs. Team members skills matching those needs will fill those positions, all others will be terminated.
I heard everyone was getting the Gregg Steinhaffle severance package and a merge with Walmart would ensue.
