Hi, I'm curious if anyone has heard of any layoffs coming for the DC's? Barely any of the lay offs so far have hit the DC's which tells me maybe we're next. There seems to be a weird vibe around there lately.

Everyone will be fired and replaced with reanimated corpses. Except for the automated buildings, they'll be run by radio controlled robots out of India. Facops UAs won't be cut, because somebody has to stand around and do nothing all day, otherwise it'd just be weird. A leprechaun told me all of this, and I believe him because he heard it from space aliens.
It must be DC specific as my DC did not lose an APGL and we are not in a hiring freeze. We just hired a group of FT TM's and another small batch of seasonal packers which sounds right with summer here.
I think the weird vibe is because best practice will be comming and with all the changes and some layoffs that did effect most DC's (APGL SrTPB TSS to name a few) I think (as usual) they are not prepared and freaking out.
Just a side note to this. There has been a hiring freeze and they seem to want to go with the seasonal and temp workers now and the foreseeable future.
