Yeah, that's what they all say. For years I've worked for Cameron and see you guys come and go and then you freak out because we know that none of you "have money saved up". I know, because Cameron is a cheap company that pays less than much of the market. That's why the good engineers don't last long.
We all know it. So, you ask why am I still here? I'll tell you why. I am comfortable and love my boss and some of the flexibility that I have in my department that much of Cameron doesn't have. If they lay me off I am forced to find something else or I'll be bored to death at home.
