I do not want to sound negative here but I think that pretty much everyone has been fed up with layoffs and all kinds of cuts that are going on in Engineering, Commercial Airlines and Defense. I cannot understand how we can be making so much money but we do not invest in our people and every time when there is an opportunity management is moving to cut resources big time. I do not get it, this is becoming a norm here at Boeing and I can tell you that my peers and coworkers are fed up with this short sighted management approach.

Management punishes vs rewards employees at 95/5 ratio. Morale is almost non-existent. I personally know of senior engineers who have suffered from heart attacks and strokes in the last two years from the incredible stores put one the workforce by management. Others are hoping for medical retirement to escape.
