The Amazon networking event is closed unless you are an HR professional. If so, please send your resume to nelli@amazon.com.

Make sure your base pay is OK, please make sure that's taken care off. Everything else you'd be able to figure out later.

I know three different people who went to Amazon. Two are thriving and one is struggling. If you don't like working and directly contributing to the bottom line, Amazon is not for you. The expectations are high, but the rewards are plentiful. If you thrive in a world of coffee statuses, three people handling the workload of one, and endless stakeholder meetings then I would avoid Amazon at all costs. They expect you to actually work.

I have known a few people who have ran to Amazon over the past few years. It has been a mix bag, of liking it and dreading their mistake. Unless you actually negotiate a good deal with them, you will get screwed. Amazon sure does LOVE Target employees though! You will see all of the flashy things at first to get your attention, but it wears off quickly. If you go this route, just be careful and know what you are getting into. Make sure you get a good deal with them, you can always ask for more pay/incentives! Good luck!

Watch out for Amazon folks - I've had numerous friends ditch Target prior to the massive layoffs and HATE their jobs...shit pay for a lot of hours...and they try to entice you with a wicked bonus and stock options but the catch is that those unlock over 4 years...the average turnover rate at Amazon is like 18 months lol...

Amazon is the worst company to work for in the entire universe. Slave drivers, no money.
