Thread regarding Target Corp. layoffs

Need a Target turnaround

Don't start with the flames just hear me out. We all need Target to be a strong employer and one that turns itself around and becomes a hiring force in the metro area. Why? Because it makes everyone that more valuable and in demand with increase of wages and benefits. I'm not drinking the kool aid either as I was also laid off last year and was as bitter as anyone against Target. But then I realized, even though I would never work for them again, I needed them to be successful and create a market demand for employees.

Explain to me how slaving away at Target 60 hours per week with low annual raises will benefit other workers in the Twin Cities. It actually puts pressure on workers in other companies to work longer hours for no extra pay.
