My gut feeling ins 80/20 for the ladies. In HQ it'd be 65/35 for the ladies. In IT it would be 70/30 for the guys. I have no stats to back this up.
Target's main customer's base is 40+ years+ old married females with children, ergo, at most Target's workplace, it's 80% females versus 20% males. The female TMs have a tendency to forms cliques and pick on any male TMs that get in their ways. As a male TM, we always got to watch our backs, it's she said she said, he said don't mean anything in a females dominated and females oriented work place.
I used to work in HR It was about 65% female to 35% males. Males only dominated in the technical areas TTS and SR VP level only. That is common for Office/HQ depts. More woman attend college than men! Thats a fact.
I am female. The layoffs hit males more in my area.
It is more towards Female
