Hard to believe, but ISM is advertising for 2 print buyers already. Why were there layoffs if you are hiring now?

ISM team members who were layed off may find the enclosed article of interest regarding legal risks, see External Risks for guidance regarding a company hiring for jobs recently vacated due to layoff.

$90k? Bwahahahahahahahahhaaaaaaaa. Is it a Manager position? A Senior position requiring 10+ years of experience? Good gravy.
I'm sorry everyone, not sure where u got that starting salary but I was an ISM print buyer and that is NOT a starting salary. The ranges are large so let's not generalize.

Anonymous80674: I am not part of that group. So you can criticize me all you want. But I find it very disgusting that one day a dept at Target lays off people, and then the next day it is advertising an opening. That is immoral.
Thank you for your reply, you have fulfilled my point.
Anonymous80660: You arrogant pompous Ass. People have been laid off in ISM, hard working people, and now ISM is looking to replace them in the same week. Dear 80660 get your head out of your ass.
Deep Throat, what are you implying by your response? Although you have provided some inside info in your multiply posts to this site your arrogance shines thru. A little humility and compassion in your replies to others who may be trying to make sense of their situation, or that of others, may be of equal or greater value to your insider info. Be helpful in all aspects of your posts.
Anonymous80626 So why cut people to rehire in the same week? An ISM Print Buyer makes $90,000 to start.
They're probably going to get a terrible starting offer, only to be cut when their salary jumps too high.
