I like to understand the different criteria between the varying pay grades.

I think the ranges get broader at the higher grades. I know for a fact that 19 goes higher than $140k.
80524 is fairly close, but the ranges are much larger as of my last performance review (last year). PG11 is 50k - 85k. If you hit the cap, but are not promotable, you receive any raise as a lump bonus. So if you were already making the 85k cap at PG-11, but received a 5% raise you would actually get a $4,250 bonus. Sounds good until you remember how compounded interest works.
In Merch Ops they had us go to the head shrinker at PG13...but that was 5 years ago.
If you truly have a son or daughter at Target, maybe you should ask them. Knowing pay grades help you understand risk better? That doesn't pass the smell test.
I also recall that at a PG15 and above you had to be examined by a headshrinker who would ask you asinine questions about high school and create a dossier on your personality for leadership fitness.
It's been a while for me but four years ago a PG11 got around 50-60k a PG13 got around 70-89k a PG15 got 80-100, a PG17 got 90-120, PG19..100 to 130k, PG21 started at 120 I think? (I was never this high up) this was for marketing.
Thanks for any intelligent replies. Some of us have a son or daughter that works there and know his title and pay amount, but not sure how that really fits in with the whole hierachy of people, and are also worried about his job. I am sure that is also why other "non-target ppl" also visit this site and appreciate any inside on what is happening to everyone else.
TSS = Telescoping Senior Store: it's a new "accordion" format for areas with dense elderly populations. Once inside, the store expands and contracts, confusing them, and then they drop their wallets and coin purses.
Pretty sure "TM" = tiny magpie, but that might be Canada-only.
MS = monkey scrotum
The current pay grades range from low to high. Hope that helps. Why are non-target ppl here asking for details that don't concern them?
and could someone please explain all the abbreviations ie. TM TI, MS ETC
