I was an MS years ago - and when I was out of the office, things went to shit without me there. Now they're pretty much only going to do item setups? What a waste of talent and college degrees. I'd get the hell out of there fast if I were an MS now...doing the robotic, extremely boring work of low-paid workers overseas. Shame on you, Brian Cornhole!

Anonymous80378 - you are an idiot and clearly know nothing about the MS role. Hope you are one of the 1700. If not, you should have been.
Way to turn this around and say I did a shit job, asshole. Item set-ups were a small part of my job at the time. Most time was spent on advertising, samples and tracking orders. And I did a fine job at it, thank you very much. I just think I would die out of boredom as an MS only setting up orders 100% of the time. But don't worry, Target will put a flashy job posting out there...making it sound all glamorous, when really it'll be data entry. Boooooooring.
The item setup process likely looks vastly different than from when you did it. Also, there's a much larger emphasis on data quality than in the past. The shit job you guys did in the past has caused a lot of the hardships today.
