I worked at Target as an external contractor for an audit for 3 weeks at the downtown Minneapolis location back in October. I gotta say I loved the team spirit and cooperative attitude I witnessed. 3 of the friends I made were laid off - I know they did not deserve it nor were they "doing nothing but having Coffee and GTKY sessions" like people here are complaining about.
I know my firm is looking for new hires and we have had a lot of people apply after today's debacle. I only have the strongest words of recommendation for you guys and girls
Stay strong. Your situation might suck at the moment but know that what lies ahead is a better future :)
