Target spokeswoman Molly Snyder said the cuts will come primarily at headquarters locations in the Minneapolis area, where about 13,500 people work. The company will also eliminate jobs at a location in Bangalore, India, where Target has about 3,000 employees.

I think in a week or two balloon will burst in TI as well.... Some of our mpls partners laid off yesterday, they were extremely good resources, but these fatty mgmt didn't consider experience and expertise.... Feeling very sad. We still have so many KMGs left.... Do we need them really? Look at services industries... If it is a group manager or equivalent role, there will be minimum 100 people aligned to him/her, but look at here.... Most of the KMGs are having reportees not more than 40. Is it really worth? Also there will be yearly atleast 2 trips from mpls to b'lore and vice versa. Do we really need such trips? Unnecessary spend on KMGs and DMGs even after paying huge salary package..... Why management is not looking at those? They can easily achieve $2 billion savings without cutting people. They should cut these kind of unnecessary expenditures, so automatically we will be able to achieve $2 billion target in 2 years....
Wow, there is really another 3,000 roles in India in addition to what was 13,000 in MN. That is a bloated company for sure. Wow, just wow.
it could be as soon as tomorrow. why is the CRE not releasing conference rooms? Why are all events cancelled for tomorrow until friday next week? The leaders have done a sick job today. Hate it when they just read a script with no empathy for team members
When?
