Article below. Says Target will be at 9-10k people that they were back in 2009-2010. I left Target in late 2009 and the company was bloated back then...I just didn't know what the count was. Target really got that fat? Now really not that surprised that it all went down. IMHO there still should be more to trim...a lot more if they wanted to. Am now in another retailer had $40B in sales and 1300 corporate staff. Now, we always wished we had more resources...but most other retailers run a lot slimmer than even this new Target.
