I know there have been a few posts of people asking if new BA positions starting this summer will be rescinded. The answers were all mixed. However I'd be starting as a BA in A&A and was wondering how full time people in that position were affected yesterday. I thought that might give me a better idea of the likelihood the offer will be rescinded or not.

I know that quite a few BA's across the company - including A&A - had a meeting this morning and those that went were told their role was eliminated but that they would now be on the bench for a future role once the dust settles. Not sure if that means another BA role or a promotion but if I was an incoming BA i would RUN and RUN FAST AND FAR AWAY.
Nobody knows until the smokes clear which will be the next several weeks. If you ask TA, they will stick to the company line. In the end, it is cheaper to rescind than to layoff more existing TMs.

Agreed. I think it is a good idea to reach out, just so you know for your own piece of mind. There is a lot of moving parts here. Don't drive yourself crazy.
Someone in TA said that everyone offered a job should be fine. Not sure what TA is though, can someone clarify please?
What happened yesterday is not predictive of your situation. They've decided to honor or rescind your offer, and you need to hear it from them directly. Don't drive yourself crazy playing some statistical game. Call them.
