To those laid off today - This is what happens when you have a CEO who is far too short sighted and bows to the Wall Street Analysts instead of the commonor. He was brought In and we all believed the corporate banter about how he would turn Target Canada around and the Glory Days would return. If he wanted to really show some solidarity, that he isnt driven by just short-sighted gold at the expense of the workers, he would announce his pay cut. But, we all know that won't happen, they wouldn't do that in New York, so why do it with some of the Salt of the Earth Minnesotans?

Such a sad and disgusting day...when I found today about out the talent, tenure, experience we lost, all I can say is "best of luck Target". To those who are laid off, I am so sorry and best of luck to you but I think Target will need more luck. Brian and Co...not just speaking from emotion but also as a stockholder, you will find out without people who love their jobs your profits will plummet. Short term gains will win you praises with wall street and investors short term., but the knowledge and caliber of talent we have lost today can't be replaced with new hires and kids out of college. BC will move on to his next hatchet job and we will be left in the dust.
What about Gregg's severance?he walked away better than Larry Phillips and Emil matasuranu
Brian is just a consequence - it's really Gregg's fault and we should claw back all the money he stole from all of us share holders.
But would you really want to stay OP? Nobody at Target is "safe". They are just safe for now. That will become apparent in due time.
