Thread regarding Target Corp. layoffs

Cornell the Honey Badger, a Pump&Dump CEO.

Cornell will raise Target's stock price while sacrificing future profits. If you are willing to sacrifice the future for short term gains, it's easy to raise stock prices. He's already started pumping the stock with 3 billion in stock buybacks. It is ludicrous to think that 20% of a obviously productive work force is useless, unprofitable and expendable. Destroying the Dayton's based work culture of Target is a big mistake. Top millennial workers don't work hard under ruthless rulers, and they're the only one's left. All the older workers are already disappeared.

Yes, Duck Dynasty, guns and ammo and Nascar merch may work at Walmart, but that's not Target's culture. But Honey Badger don't give a damn. The plan is be ruthless, sell crap, pump the stock.... and then golden parachute out of the burning mess you've made. This is the next three years before "poof he's gone" with an extra $100 million in his back pocket.

The older workers were gone long ago. Try finding anyone over age 50 working at Target headquarters. Target's upper management wanted to get rid of the middle age employees because that is where the brains, experience, ethics and history of the company resided. Upper management wanted the younger employees that they could brainwash and bully.

Very true, it is sad that all decisions today are made to please the shareholder and not for the long-term well being of the company.
