Thread regarding Target Corp. layoffs

What responsibility/accountability are Target leaders taking in all of this?

It is easy to heap all the blame for what Target has been facing in the last 3 years on Greg but Kathy (sp?) and all other executives worked with Greg. What did they do? Were they just yes men and yes women to Greg? What are they doing differently from now on to assure remaining employees that this would not repeat itself next year? After all people were told last year that Target was repositioned after 1,300 jobs were eliminated in one day. The dangerous politics at Target is still very much there. Even in this so called restructuring, we still see huge politics being played about who goes and who stays, we see situations where people with connections are left alone while people with very good skills are sent to the unemployment line. Something tells me that we have not heard the last about this.

The "Target Leaders" have been yes men and yes women to Gregg. They have all been feathering their own nests at the expense of the company's future, the employee's future and the stockholders value. The corporate board has also been a blank stamp for Gregg, and why they are all still there is beyond me.
