DCs just went through "Staffing Optimization" with the GL level employees....cutting several, taking it down to one per shift, per dept when previously there were 2 per shift, per dept. We also lost the entire logistics dept (the work has been given to the other clericals and the scheduling outsourced to horrible Ryder). We also do not hire as many actual employees to work the floor. It's very heavy on temps.
I think everyone is feeling these changes...everywhere.
