It is true that families and friends are reading this board to get information on what may happen to people important to us. Who are these insider jerks who want to hide information in "GDM-SSA DCE's in SSC" just got invites! Like we are here for information, be a help then. If a department got slashed why not say which it was? It might by my family member whose just been fired!

I don't work at Target, but reading this board has exposed to me a culture that is in need of a complete shake up. Bloated and full of back biting and self important clowns.

My thoughts are with the friends I made in that department when I worked there.

As for those saying 'I'm in a different department', there is a large acronym list in Wiki. Look it up, it would be more helpful than to spout vitriol on such a sad day.

I'm in FRS and I didn't know what BI is.

BI means something totally different to me...

"Acronyms are practically the language of target corporate; using them here is a good way to make the rubbernecking harder" .... "I agree - if you don't know the acronyms, it's none of your business. Go watch a different trainwreck" Really?????

Hard to determine why a new CEO would come in and remove so much FAT!!! (maybe he didn't know the acronyms)

Financial & Retail Services Business Intelligence,

There is no reason to be a jerk about your 'secret' acronyms. People's parents, spouses, siblings and general loved ones look at this to get information too.

You are all dumb asses! In Merch...we don't know the FRS lingo...or the Marketing lingo. Vice versa. I've been here 10 years - the speak isn't ALL the same across the company.

What is FRS BI? Not all acronyms are widely known throughout target.
