Just wondering how I could back up the stuff on my laptop ? I have some stuff that would be very valuable in helping me get another interview.

dumbass, like it or not, everything you did while at Target you got paid for and belongs to target.
It's ok for projects you worked on, but it can't be anything that's confidential or contains proprietary information is a big no. Use a flash drive or dropbox to save copies of stuff that you want to take with you. Copy all your contacts in outlook. Also send an email to your contacts with your personal email so you can stay in touch with them.
Never, never, never take anything that could be perceived as proprietary information. Never. If you show anybody any "secret" stuff, you won't get hired. Why would I hire you if you show me Target's information? How would you handle my information? I know it might be tempting, but you're better off taking absolutely nothing, and making a point of that integrity in an interview. I know because I have taken that path. I don't have much to document my work over the years, but I've used my own resources to "mock up" some samples. I title them as work for "ACME Corp.," the people who made the rocket-powered roller skates and invisible holes for Wile E. Coyote. When I tell people I can't show them the real work because it belongs to other companies, and I'd treat their work with equal respect and confidentiality, it shows them more than if I had shown them work which properly belongs to others. Your qualifications and skills are what belong to you and are your best assets. Don't cross the line in a moment of emotion or you'll pay for it later.
Should have done it before the meeting. If it's not in your possession anymore, there's nothing you can do.
I'm OP. Dropbox works.
I get pretty fast internet in CC. So i'm 75% done with the upload.
Never print or email any Target confidential or Target proprietary info outside the company. I would print or email whatever you feel is useful. But don't do it if it is confidential or internal info. Never ever.
Did you get laid off? If so...it's probably too late. Should have done it last week.
