I have a hard time understanding all these people who are spending so much time on this site when they don't work for Target, and clearly don't like it. I get you are trying to stir the pot, but frankly, you suck.

Brian, is this you?
471 hit the nail on the head. I work close to HQ downtown and can't wait for the smug attitude to come down a notch or two. This should do the trick. Plus, if you all are so smart and are such a great "team" maybe you could make a site that's private for "team members" only. I hear there will be a few people with some extra time on their hands.
My husband work for Target.
Because maybe my wife works for Target. Asshole.
I'm reading because I am very close to a long time employee. Also due to several other things:
•Young (first job post college) Target employees, in a rude, generalization, are pompous, arrogant assholes and I get a small amount of joy when you freak out. It's just a job, and a shitty one at that.
•I pay taxes in MN and care about our unemployed masses.
•Learning what Target Corp is all about from a cultural standpoint (rotten)
•My company is/should be poised to take advantage of Target's folly- Target is laying off a lot of good people, IMO, and we'll pick them (you) up and give you a good place to land.
•Train Wreck. That's what this is, and we can't look away.

Do you now understand the impacts?
Because we have friends and family there and we need to know what's happening to support them. Simply, we are very worried.
I worked at Target for almost ten years (stores and HQ), and left of my own free will. I still care deeply about the company and former coworkers! That's why I check this site!
I don't work there anymore (just left in February) but still have friends who are like family there and I'm worried about them. I also did love working there despite leaving. I left because I was in a role that wasn't challenging for me.
247--What happens at Target (the 4th largest employer in the state) impacts a LOT of Minnesotans! You self centered jerk!
For the lulz
247 got his feefees hurt.
I have a family member that I am frightened for today. They had hoped for a great future there and now who knows.

Yep 247, it's unanimous you're a d-ck. Good for you that you don't ever engage in news stories that don't DIRECTLY involve you though!
I don't work for Target, but I have very close friends and their families that I'm concerned for. I don't need your approval to view a public website for good information.
I'm a TM, but to qualify these other folks: there is notable impact from Target in all of Minneapolis. Just to give you a few reasons, there's impact to surrounding businesses, those who hold contracts with the company, not to mention loved ones who may need more support. All of these key points aside... you are also all too easy to troll.
Because my wife works there. I have friends that work there. My friend's wife is 6 months pregnant and I have to say a big thank you to Target for what he complained about....ultimately cancelling ultrasound coverage. He had to pay out of pocket just to see if his kid was healthy. I feel bad for him. This is making it worse.
Because this is a public forum. And as a Twin Cities resident who is invested in the local economy and has many friends who work for Target, I care. Start a private board under password protection if you don't like it.
I no longer work for Target, but I really want to see the people that gave me the toughest time in my career let go. Some people don't deserve to be named Target Team Members and I still believe in Karma. I already learned from this site about a SGM that was let go and it made my day.
I don't work for Target, but I have a family member who does. Is that okay with you??
Good Morning Brian!
