My favorite moment getting laid off from Target? Walking into the "Outprocessing" room on 2nd floor at CC. My box of prossessions on my shoulder like an 80s boom box, leather coat over my "formal" business attire. Seeing all the HR folks speaking in hushed tones to people, and me LOUDLY asking from the door "Hey! Is this where I check out?" Go out with a bang, not a whimper.
