I never understood the Target culture of not working and endless coffees/statuses. I got hired to do a job to move projects forward not spend all day at Starbucks.
Fear is a terrible thing to live in And how about some transparent honesty from upper management? No one ever wanted to hear the truth anyway, so why start telling the grunts now?
I feel bad for the people that put in 60 hrs a week; while others were doing coffee statuses, CFT's, & FFF team meetings instead of actually working.
Yea I never understood it either... In my org I started out getting tossed into the fire and was working 60-70 hour weeks pretty much right off the bat in order to meet deadlines.
