Thread regarding Target Corp. layoffs

Target India managers will be fired tomorrow ? Brain concentrate on firing Target india managers and prove your talent

Instead of targeting talented technical people and other supporting folks, Brain cornell should concentrate on firing all Target india managers who are not only inefficient but also mindless folks...and we have Deliver managers and senior delivery managers who does share market related activities and sleeps in team meetings. they have been enjoying the luxury of Target with out much contributing to company. if they loose job in Target then they will never get job anywhere. They hardly manage 4 team members and once in a month they conduct useless one-o-one meetings. They don't know what to talk , how to talk , how to motivate team members. If a team member asks for promotion immediate question would be what extra you have done. Extra activities means conducting pot luck , conducting FFF events , conducting COE meetings. managers will support only those team members who are doing these activities .are we working in a software company to develop software or event organisers.

wake up managers ..understand the reality

target india store ops leadership needs to be checked. So many of them manage so few tm's. No one technical only business people who make wrong choices.

All politics for personal gain.

Asks for a big cut and put curbs to make sure not happen at other departments.

Do not take feedback as some one mentioned. 2-3 people playing all the cards. Bad for the org. Brings bad moral and breed ill culture.

There are 2-3 big idiots in Target India StoreOps team. They are there to make the environment so bad that team members leave. I dont want to call out the names but you can see in last 1 year 7-8 out of 9 people left under one manager. and also because of the manager. Instead of throwing her out of the company, Company has given her promotion.... because of her repo with her direct manager. Even HR knows all the drama.

So idiotic ..

Enough about TI and its managers..! Is it not that every manager in TI was asked.. Sorry, given feedback from MPLS managers on how things work in Target...! What you reap is what you sow...! Quit grumbling and face reality. Managers or leadership in both locations is being cut. Wake up...!!!

Target will never succeed unless it's culture of coffee-statuses and networking go away. YOUR BUSINESS IS SOURCING STUFF, STOCKING THEM, AND SELLING THEM FOR A PROFIT! HQ is doing a good job at shaking this up and I hope these losers who rode the wave for so long finally hit the wall that is reality. I don't think half of these "managers" and "leaders" would survive in the outside corporate world. I love working at Target, but what the hell is up when my time spent "networking" and "creating perceptions" are more important than my core job which I excel in?

Don't worry people. If what we've seen in MPLS is anything to go by, those to get the axe will be those that are a waste of space, especially in management.

Haha... I've seen "Business Managers" in my pyramid everywhere but their desks holding "status meetings" and browsing red-cast all day. And they have 4 leaders reporting to them, managing 2 to 4 TM's. I don't understand how this is still happening at Target lol.
