Do you know if managers know what people will be laid off? I am referring to people below manager.

The only people in the know are the Executive Committee. No levels below them were involved in these decisions, so nobody really knows anything.
I'm a manager - have no idea if my director even knows yet. I know that my group manager doesn't either.
