Everything on this blog indicates that Merch is where the giant bullseye is. But of course Merch is a broad term at Target. Can mean a lot of different teams. Honestly, to meet these kinds of layoff numbers predictions, I am guessing entire teams/roles will be eliminated. I don't think this is going to be a lower 10 exercise, picking off portions of teams. We will be left with "how's this or that going to work without this role or that team". The aftermath will be epic I think. I think the whole company will be working different...and I don't mean WFH either.

But but - I thought it was TNC where the bloodbath was going to be!
I've got s hunch the TNC doomsayers on this site are from Merch, and vice versa. No one knows anything, but you feel that if you can convince everyone that things will go a certain way, maybe the will. Or maybe one group sh*ts on the other as payback for all the stress they're enduring.
It being quite in Merch today means nothing...
Well, it's very quiet in Merch today, if that's any indication about what's going to happen tomorrow, I'd say Merch will not be worse off at all
