Being a racist or a bigot is not something we should celebrate or accept. I'm pretty sure if you went around the office tomorrow slamming 'diverse team members' as being some sort of perceived problem, that HR would make an exception and toss you in with the rest of the layoffs. I'd certainly celebrate that, especially if it kept a non-bigot team member around.
