Ditto 905. If consultants are advising on how to restructure, are they also picking the people to layoff? Hopefully there is some input from the higher up TGT people. I'd hate to see employees with a lot of potential terminated just because they happen to be in the wrong job right now.

Consultants have been employed and based downtown reviewing organizational structures advising on how to become leaner based upon a variety of factors.
I think the selections are being done above the director level. I truly believe my director had no more info than anyone on the team about this. That's why I worry about who will stay & go.

HR selects those being cut tomorrow?
I hope they got a say. Some HR goon better not have made this decision without business context.
They are typically an upbeat group. Can't imagine what tomorrow will bring.
So if Directors didn't get a say in the selection, then who would decided?
I saw the Finance Directors walk through the Great Hall around 4 after their meeting, and they did not look like they were in good moods. I've worked closely with all of them and that glum look across the whole group was not normal.
I heard pre selected. Kind of a shame. If they didn't pre select right target could be holding the bag with more undeperdormers than they'd like.

Collections has a Town Hall meeting with Efraim but it's not until the 23rd. That must be when we will find out more about our area.
Finance directors (who reside in CC) had a private appointment from 1 pm - 4 pm today, most likely to discuss whatever the rest of the week is going to bring.
Core finance runs pretty lean. I am guessing it won't be quite as bad there. Atleast I hope.
