I am not sure surviving is worth celebrating! Enjoy all the extra work, long hours, not seeing your family. The ones celebrating should be the ones let go as they will find that life after Target is good. The grass is greener on the other side of the fence after spending anytime working at Target. God's speed to all those effected by this weeks events. If you find yourself not one of the liberated you have my sympathy!
can't wait to pop bottles
How would you celebrate when so many talented colleagues can't? I vote for you to be the next off.

The idea is repugnant. If you are not a troll provide your cube # so we can meet in person.
Not insensitive at all. I'm safe. I'm not a loser.
Not if it's the good booze! I am SO HAPPY I didn't get canned. WHEW
A bit insensitive don't you think.
That's insensitive... if you're a worthwhile employee, you shouldn't be feeling good about ANY of this right now.
Survivor... you mean another 10-20 yrs working for someone else... yeah, that sounds like barely surviving. Fortunately I've always lived by the code, "use the man, or he will use you" if I get laid off, I'll be ok because I never got attached in the first place. Companies don't care about you, and they never will - this is truth.
TPC is better. That way we can watch from afar all the ex-team members with all their belongings.
Unless mine a psychopath? What does that mean?
Been on both sides of a layoff. Unless your a psychopath it is harder on the survivor side.
What about a Pfeiffer or Hamms?
What about a mickeys malt liquor?
Nice way to gloat. How about doing in the front lobby so all the laid off folks can celebrate your survival with you?
