It's so crazy that many millions have been wasted on Accenture/McKinsey/Bain/Etc projects that went nowhere that it's mind-boggling. I really hope that 'consultant' becomes a four-letter word at Target

Accenture is actually pretty good, expensive and aggressive from the billing standpoint but good value. At least in my area they helped a lot. MCK and Bain are high level and strat, cannot comment on that, we should ask GGG about it...

Never going to happen. Instead, you will see more of McKinsey and Bain as they will advise executives on the transformation. This issue is not unique to Target.
