Is everybody getting a 9am meeting or just the raptured? :-/ Will email be immediately blocked? What can you suss out from the invites?

In the layoff of Jan. 2014, if your invite was for 9:00 AM, you went. If after that you were informed about the layoff, how it affected your team and you stayed. I unfortunately was in the 9:00 AM and it lasted all of 2 minutes. They let you know that your position was eliminated and be by your phone during the day as someone from HR will be calling with additional info regarding your severance package. That was it, no Q/A whatsoever. Not sure if the procedure changed after that.
