In pdd we were told it will all happen tomorrow. And that good people will be let go. That we will receive an email stating for us to come to a room if our job is being eliminated. Guess we all get the fun task of staring at our computers tomorrow...

That's what my boss has been in a LONG meeting over. Getting the mass exodus of everyone arranged in an orderly fashion. Good luck with that one. /sarc

We find it's always better to fire people on a Friday. Studies have statistically shown that there's less chance of an incident if you do it at the end of the week.

Why a Tuesday? Look back historically. Most layoffs in the past couple of years have been a Wednesday event. Even the Canada one in February. I hope it's tomorrow, because of the tension. I agree - rip the damn bandaid off and get it done. But if it isn't....

I am overhearing from multiple sources HORROR STORIES for the poor folks at Brooklyn Park. First big wave is hitting them tomorrow. Changing the whole dynamic over there.

Haven't heard anything but the room taken offline on my floor isn't starting til Wednesday. Everybody is still talking about tomorrow though.
