Tuition Reimbursement Paid Out if in Accrual?

Anyone know if the company will pay out the accrued balance for Tuition Reimbursement that is owed to you for MBA credits if you're let go? No information anywhere and since they dropped the Pilot program there hasn't been much information.

CA TMs received full accrual payout in their offer, but it's definitely not required under the tuition reimbursement policy. It will be interesting to see how different the offers are this time relative to 4 weeks ago.

If worse comes to worse and you have to get this question answered, call the TMSC; they will know.

It depends, I know several people who were paid their accrual in one of the layoffs last year. If you leave on your own accord, as the previous poster did, you definitely would not be paid out your accrual.

No they will not pay out. I left Target recently after graduating with my MBA. I was under the Tuiton reimbursement program for several years, so I am knowledgeable about the program. Target will never pay out any accrued tuition reimbursement balance unless you are currently actively employed at Target, regardless the reason for your departure.
