A lot of my counterparts in the business in mpls are amazing folks , amazing human beings. But the folks in my pyramid in mpls seem like idiots, insecure and always trying to control TI without any reason

Ha ha...funny..because we at TI feel the same way about mpls folks...
I have no clue, but I hope so! They are worthless. You cant talk to them on the phone because you cant understand a word they say, so you either have to corresponded with them through IM or emails. It sometimes takes two or three tries for them to figure out the problem before they can fix it. Another thing they are good at doing is closing the ticket because they cant figure it out within their allotted time that makes them look good and you have to open a different ticket with the EXACT same problem. They need to go!
No way India has any talent worthy of the MERCH. All will be canned.
Did anybody actually listen to the webcast? Centralized data. I wonder what that means.

Until we can build up the engineering talent pool in Minneapolis, I don't think Target India will be going anywhere.

Target.com have lots of managers who are Expat..they are high on the list
yes...target india will be closed soon...
I don't think they can close TI, all of our development is done there, thus all of that technical SME is there. I work in Mpls have great partners in TI - getting teams up to working at a proficient level takes longer than leaders want, but once it happens, it can be a great model.
The XPAT's from Target Canada got a trip home, but no guarantee of a job back in MPLS.
Will the TI guys who are in Mpls be impacted ?
