Hearing a lot about Merch BAs... I assume the move to agile scrum teams in TTS means less of the BA/PM/PA roles. Any idea if this means huge layoffs in TTS? Please no "I'm better than you because of my role" posts.

If the move to agile scrum teams is structured like the .com re-org from the end of 2013 (no clue if it will be, but that's the only full area to already be in that working model), the majority of the TTS BAs and PMs were combined into a new PM role with about half of the group laid off.
Mercy BAs will stay around for a while, eventually to be displaced by actual analysts combined with more sophisticated decision making tools. MP Managers and MP Directors will not be so lucky. That layer will be gone. Likely MP oversight will consolidate into MPOps which will evolve to control more and advise less.
Merch BAs and TTS BAs are very different. I am pretty sure contract TTS PMs are going out soon, but not sure when.
