anyone know how FSA positive balances are addressed if laid off. Is there a Window provided to still make claims?

FSA usually will deny claims on new expenses after termination. Only expenses incurred before the term date will qualify.
Call your doctor, see if you can pre-pay the remainder of your FSA balance to them. If not, see if they can refill prescriptions, and you can purchase them before the term.
You have til 12/31 to spend it
