Thread regarding Target Corp. layoffs

Best company ever?

Do you really believe that you have been working in the Best Company Ever?

RedRock, Everest, Canada, Millions into infrastructure projects going to the drain, overhead in TTS CoE's, the best politics win the promotions instead of bureaucracy. Bad leadership. But you get free product sampling on Fridays and you get to wear jeans and that makes it the best company ever? I am embarrassed to be associated with the bullseye.

73258, time will tell. I wonder why they were boasting about which % of the exec team is from outside TGT.

To take a phrase from the late Mr. Spock, your thinking is illogical. It is the "YES" people who will remain at Target. It is the people who did voice their opinion, albeit contrary to mainstream thinking at Target, it is those people who will be let go. It will be MORE of a "YES" people company

It is definately not the best company ever, but its not the worst company either. I have always believed that if you can chose to leave a company, so can a company chose to leave you. Many folks at target were always "yes" people, avoiding conflicts and always trying to make peace. I hope people left behind at TGT develop a spine to deal with conflicts and take tough decisions.
