Dear Anonymous73266: Taxpayers will not be burdened by the new Vikings stadium. That is the same tired argument that we heard regarding the new Twins Stadium, which by the way is called Target Field. The attractions that will be brought in by the new football stadium will create more business opportunities, and bring in more money to the state and city than the meager portion of tax increases to pay for it. Target Corporation has problems. But to have such a painful reduction in headcount is not the way to solve the problem. The new CEO is showing absolutely no imagination on how to fix Target.
Not at all. The burden of the egotistical stadium deal was brokered by by target ego. The taxpayers will be burdened by similar delusions of grandeur.
