I have a friend that just emailed me saying that they are being pulled into a meeting at 3:30.... He said the layoffs are going to be worse this afternoon than the VPs this am.

That's probably a meeting to explain and say "calm down, first wave is done".
Firing is normally done early in the morning in a one-to-one meeting by the manager and managers manager.
Layoffs typically happen @ Target in the morning (8-10 am CT).
Who is in the meeting? What's happening?
Anyone?
Several VPs were laid off early today, it happened around 9 a.m.
