Flagging Walmart made a great publicity move when it promised to raise wages for 500,000 workers. Lots of free positive press. Anti-union Target doesn't get it, and they will pay as the competition for working class consumers and competent workers heats up.

Here comes the Union crap. Unions are an anchor around a businesses neck. If you are so skilled and want more money, go find someone to pay you for your skills, why would you instead pay someone else to force your boss to pay you more - Target was very fat, even the TM's talked about it. It's no fun, but a good sign they recognize one of many problems they have. So tell me how much more skilled you are at fronting shelves that you deserve more?
