My apologies to all people who I have disagreed with for criticizing ECMC/ Zenith. I have supported them (ECMC/Zenith) on this site and in personal conversations up until now. However the cat is out of the bag for what they are all about and what they are about to do to the campuses. PRFIT is their first priority and they want to get their by basically crashing the admissions down to pulp to produce 2 times the starts they have now. I feel sorry for all of us who believed in the new folks but, I also feel for our reps who will get crashed daily to bring more people in. I also feel for our teachers and Deans who will get the blame for all the additional drops due to the extra pressure that is about to be applied to the reps to produce twice the starts.. I can't wait much longer. I really, really held out hope that there would be ethical improvements. It's just not going to happen, though, unless I'm really misreading things. It hasn't been long but we still shouldn't be hearing and seeing this ("business as usual!" and "asses in classes" and "smile and dial!"). It's like the nightmare will never end. Just shoot me!
It was Everest that screwed it up for everyone else by paying off employers and fudging numbers. Everest is still Everest. It'll be business as usual there.
You can't teach an old dog new tricks. It is business as usual at my campus. Nothing will change until the president and up are replaced. That has not happened so the pressure and meetings continues.
This is bs. No new or additional pressure in admissions from the Zenith leadership team felt at my campus or region. But I am lucky, my Pres and DOA aren't douches! Stop trying to piss on a reputation that doesn't even exist yet. We still need to make $ to keep the doors open and serve our students but now it's not all going directly into the executive teams pockets or feeding the wall street greed!

The whole thing is bulls**t. I gave up on them this week; I'll do no more tracking and will simply teach my class until I get the boot.
