Was with the company for over 10 years and was let go from a boss who lied and was deceitful. Manulife is a terrible place to work. Best thing was being let go from that hell hole. I feel so much better. They treated everyone like crap and at the time there was a negative feeling everywhere. I hired a lawyer who was just disgusted with the way they treated me and a few others who they let go at the same time and were his clients.

Hey Too Bad why are being so mean. No need to be like that. The person is just venting about their experience with Manulife layoffs; which I believe is the point for this form. What do you work for Manulife or something?
Hey Anonymous, no need for the name calling, However I was with Manulife but left before the layoffs. Friends told me about how bad it got after I left and how negative it is there but I think that it is more common in a lot of big financial companies. I am glad I left when I did. I moved to a better company. Glad your in a better job.
In my original comment I was not being an asshole at all; at least in my opinion. I was just explaining what I experienced at Manulife before I left and what others did as well

Like I said I feel much better that I am gone but they were bad and since then I know two people who started their after I left and left on their own because of the negativity at Manulife.
