Thread regarding Target Corp. layoffs

So called BTS and LUF feedback session

Countless BTS and LUF have come and gone but 2 stupid bitches are still destroying careers at TI! There is no point sharing feedback. It's just a namesake thing conducted to findout the employees who are unhappy with your work style and don't agree to ass lick so that you can find them and target them. Ass lick or get your ass kicked! As simple as that. GTC for ass licking is handed out in this team.

90327 sorry but you are wrong. It's an anonymous survey tabulated at a vendor. Individual responses can't be tracked by anyone at target.

How the heck am I supposed to fill out the LUF portion of the survey if my boss was laid off?

90085, if you really believe the BTS is totally anonymous, I'm not sure who the bigger fool is. I've seen for myself that the results were changed from when we entered info to when we got the results. If you want to test your theory, say in the survey something threatening.....you'll see how fast you have new friends surrounding your cubicle. There is nothing that is digital that is anonymous.

I think what the OP is saying is by the feedback and comments in the BTS there were leaders who figured out who turned in the survey and painted a "Bullseye" on those who provided negative feedback. I on the other hand find company surveys to be useless for those who have already decided to leave because the changes usually take years to implement. It is easier to leave and start fresh in an environment that isn't waiting for once a year to listen to their pain points.

Seriously - BTS had nothing to do with how people were laid off. What a joke that anyone would think that. It is an anonymous survey. It's conducted by an external vendor.

Confirmed in a meeting last week, BTS will happen on the same schedule as in the past. They have a new survey vendor and will get results in half the time as in the past. They seem committed to continuing this process, good or bad, anonymous or not. Remember last year the BTS happened right after Gregg left and they were concerned about the results being accurate for the year. Pretty sure they are again concerned about the results being accurate for the year.

The thing about BTS this year is that I expect leadership to simply dismiss the poor results due to the layoffs and low morale, and not take the results seriously. I've seen it happened in the past, and I fully expect it to happen again this time.

Not sure who the 2 are that you refer to, but you're probably correct in your attitude about BTS. I never for a moment believed it was really anonymous either. It may have even played into how the laid off were chosen.
