I forecasted that layoffs would resume 90 days after the deal closed. Based on info on the ECMC board, it is looking like 60 days is more accurate.

Ha ha indeed. So you're an instructor who told your students to not continue to use your employer's services (you being the main service once students are enrolled). Are you surprised you were let go?
I got canned on Friday and it is no surprise to me given what has been going on with this joke of an educational institution. Will miss the mediocre income :) but I feel bad for the students.

All that paperwork we had to do on our own time. I'm glad they let me go.
I was just layed off this past Friday. Very unprofessional the way Zenith did it. I was an instructor for almost 7 years. Too bad on them: I told my Everest students last year to look for other schools. haha.
Leadership could have and should have handled this completely differently. Instead of keeping everyone in the dark just be upfront. Were they worried instructors would lose it and just not tend to their classes or students? Do they have that little regard for us as professionals? Speaking of...leadership at the now ECMC is made up of completely unprofessional people.

CCI management can never be trusted. We've been told to not worry we won't be RIF'ing anyone else. Then a week later, guess what? Over 200 in the company let go. Incompetence as human beings and especially at a failing company. Thanks to management were heading down the drain. Any manager that says otherwise is insulting you and doesn't care one single cent about you or your peers.
Of course, management only wants to string you along so you can do the same to students. This was the master plan to slowly bleed the company.
