Thread regarding Schlumberger Ltd. layoffs

glad to be gone

As a former Smith (legacy) employee Iam greatful to Smith International for 20 yrs. employement. But allways being called Legacy writing was on the wall. 5+yrs with Slb.

Sucked we whent for 5 yrs. no raise. but good news!!! Only unemployed for a week had offer from another company and Iam gonna start out making more money than I did in 25+ yrs, As smith (Legacy) employee. Bottom line SLB does not care about any of you remaining I feel sorry for my Smith (legacy) family in Ponca City. And yes it is me guys!!

Good luck and see you all in a month or so when you are back to workin with me. Advice for young people comeing out of college to workfor Slb. use it as a stepping stone not a career. Best of luck TATA!!!

Schlumberger was the worst thing to happen to Smith. They should've never bought us.

Heard the same rumors of closing I think they'll have to give notice so if it is gonna happen it would be soon. June isn't far away

They've ran the Ponca plant into the ground moral is at an all time low...

Best thing for this facility is for them to sell us... Schlumberger has no idea how to run manufacturing and has failed before.. First to go should be the Italian and sparks.. Fuk' me in da neck...
