Thread regarding Target Corp. layoffs

Hey Brian

Due to all of your cuts at store level we can no longer keep our store GREEN ! Were blood red and are always written up for not being green. We can't do it anymore !! We can't fill shifts anymore because employees can't handle the stress . Come work a day at our store for one day !! You jerk !

I feel the pain from the los issue.I work at a DC and we are the same way,cut to the bone.we do the best we can to service the stores but there is plenty of tension

I couldn't agree more. The practice of hiring ETLs that are clowns with basketweaving degrees and no retail experience has been going on for at least the last 15 years. Tina is currently at fault for this practice. Brian needs to actually do something, just another lazy CEO collecting a fat check. So far he has just hired consultants to think for him.

TGT store structure needs a revamp too. Stop cycling through salaried college students and promote permanent managers from withing the store. People who started as cashier but can't move up to management level due to education limits would be more effective than hiring a pretty boy/girl from college. Turnover rates would drop and productivity would rise. It's not rocket science. Just pay your employees a decent wage and things will fall into place.

Brian ..layoff 50 percent more folks ..nothing happens..Target got way too many folks who are completely jobless.
