Is there a way to compare my severance to other companies? Something like a website or a forum where people are able to benchmark severance packages received. Please let me know.

I don't think severance packages are negotiable.
I'd like to have some closure, that's why I am asking for a comparison
Target is better than some and worse than others. The best I have heard for severance is 6 months.
What for? You want to negotiate for more? Or feeling guilty that Target is giving you too much for how much you are worth?

Why don't you post your severance comparison question on this site (e.g., you can go to Sears' board, or something like this? There is a ton of oil and gas companies laying people off so ask them what they got)
