Thread regarding Target Corp. layoffs

Psychotherapist in Minneapolis

While we are talking about referrals, I need a Psychotherapist in Minneapolis. If I continue to hear about layoffs I will go nuts. Seriously, this whole thing destabilized me quite a bt. But hey, there is nothing we can do about it so I am about to figure out how to block all of this stress

This is very hard and sorry but it takes more than deep breathes. For about a month, a lot of us face each day with out bodies flooded with adrenaline and cortisol. It's a flight or fight situation that goes back to our very primal state. Bottom line is, those who inflict it seriously don't care. Get out of Target to save your well-being. This is not the company we once knew.

Guys this is serious stuff and all of us are affected in some way. If you are on this site, you are affected, you think about it and you are trying to anticipate and prepare, so it affects you. Go get help if you feel you may need it and work on the condition, if caught early they can help you resolve the problem before it turns into a chronic condition. Good luck.

I believe separated employees have access to the free team member life resources service for 18 months. Through this hot line you can get a referral to a therapist or counselor for three free sessions per calendar year, PER ISSUE. Ie, work stress, marital issues, kid issues, etc. It's a great program...take advantage of it!

Yeah I've been thinking about using a counselor available through the Health and Wellbeing Center because I can't concentrate or get motivation at work anymore. This whole thing has really thrown me off balance.
