They had meetings in February with employees regarding reorganzation and told my husband straight to his face that his job was safe. He was let go last week. They have sent more jobs to India. For a company that prides itself on being family oriented, they are effing liars. I hope that those that made the lay-off decisions lose everything they own and are faced with the prospect of homelessness!

Allscripts does not care about their customers or their employees. It is blatantly obvious in the fact that even though EVERY SINGLE customer I speak with is eternally grateful I am in the US and speak English and have the knowledge and background to fix their problem in one phone call - that the insecure, pompous, lying, egotistical managers/directors and MOST ESPECIALLY JOHN MAYR - will fire every single US employee and replace them with poor substitutes in India. And you and I both know why - to PAD their pockets with more money. India staff is dirt cheap. So fire the knowledgeable competent US staff and replace them with pitiful substitutes.
Shame on you. Shame on you Jesse Tripp for POINT blank LYING to us about "no more lay offs at this time" not SIX weeks ago and then today? TWO hundred and FIFTY US employees gone.

The company is run by backstabbers that only want more of the docs money. People like Steve l whom knows nothing about business but how to gain their own financial stability before the next wave of executives take over, wait for Pro EHR to be sunset next.
They also have a track record of laying off employees who were recently on FMLA. They're not a fan of it, regardless of the reason.
If anyone ever looked into this, they would notice a clear pattern.
Only matter of time before it catches up with them. You can't lay off all the workers in the US and still have a manager job. India will manager their own people and the people constructing these layoffs will be in the unemployment line and rest assured everybody who was effected in these layoffs will make sure to put in a "bad" word for them at any healthcare jobs in the area or elsewhere.
